Buenos dias, Thessaloniki! I hope that you are doing as well as I am here, dear reader. The weather is lovely; I’m especially a fan of the constant downpour of squid that occasionally makes way for rain! It really is a lovely element. The temperature is cooling off quickly here, with the lows plummeting into the 50’s and the highs quietly deescalating into the 70’s. Make sure you leave your stove on when you leave home so that you can return to a properly heated building (or so you have a convenient excuse to leave a conversation). The average humidity is about 56%, and you should expect rainfall scattered throughout the week, breaking up the ever-present fall of squid.
Have you seen the sun? How about the moon? You may be looking for their rise and set times, but do you know what you should be looking for? Our sponsor: The Fortune Teller. She never actually gave a name or any details, but she did give me a rather exciting prediction in payment for the sponsorship. Let me remember… She said “All things are free… all things are buy one get one free… we are having a sale at the store down the lane.” Yeah, something like that. Well, thank you, Fortune Teller, for this exciting news! This week, with the waves splashing against the harbor walls, the wind playfully blowing through my hair, and the squid that always seemed to fall, the weather began to look up. As we ease into fall and move towards winter, things will grow colder, but we cannot grow colder ourselves. Readers, in this time of cold, be warm to others so that your warmth may thaw your chilly body. Your love will be your fire, as it is mine. That’s all for this report. I’ll see you next time, where we will be doing an in-depth analysis on the significant impact that hyenas have on rainfall!
